I sculpted a bunch of these for the Halloween show I'll be doing with my doll club friends.

First I mixed a bunch of black, white, translucent and silver clay until it was marbled. Then I rolled it out and cut out the background disc. After applying mica powders to make it glittery, I cured the background. Then I cut out the moon using a similar process, only using white, pearl and black clays. I cut the bats out of black clay (individually, with a sewing needle -- took forever!) and applied them with the moon.

They look much better in person, because the mica powders and the dark colors don't show up well in photographs. I made thirteen but I'm only going to post a few of them here.
